Information
Escape Artist 1982
Written by Jay himself, this movie is a
story about a young man with an incredible Houdini-like talent who is
exploited by a number of greedy adults. Harry Anderson was in this film
also. The main star was Griffin O'Neal. From what I found, I don't think
Jay gets much credit for this.
Homicide 1991
Directed by David Mamet, Jay plays Aaron
in film.

House of Games 1987
Directed by Jay's friend David Mamet and
co-staring Jay himself, this 1987 movie features a bar, House of Games,
where people get together to play cards. One of the cons in the movie is
from Ricky Jay's firm, Deceptive Practices. Jay plays George/Vegas
Man.
Information
Magnolia 1999
Jay is uncredited in Magnolia for
two contributions--his voice as narrator AND his role as the apparent
producer of the game show. Also, a copy of magician/scholar Jay's book
"Learned Pigs and Fireproof Women" is shown in prominent place
among Stanley's volumes on table.
